Right now, about 38 million seniors are already living in poverty or just one life event away from slipping into it.

The lingering economic and social impacts of the pandemic, combined with record inflation, continue to make life extremely difficult for older adults, especially those living on fixed incomes. One million more older adults fell into poverty in 2021, and that was before inflation skyrocketed. Many older adults are struggling to keep food on the table, pay for necessary health care, and find or keep good jobs.

AARP Foundation serves millions of older adults living with low income so they can secure good jobs, get the benefits and refunds they've earned, and stay connected to their communities. As more and more seniors are struggling to make ends meet, your support is a lifeline.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to AARP Foundation, AARP’s charitable affiliate, today. Your voluntary support gives a lifeline to an older person who needs one.
